The DaYan FTO (Magnetic + Ball-Core) is a modern take on the Face-Turning Octahedron. It has eight triangular faces that all turn, and it adds magnets and a magnetic ball-core for a smoother, more stable solve than older FTO designs.

Magnetic ball-core

A magnetic ball sits at the centre of the puzzle and holds the internal pieces in position as you turn. This gives the FTO a more controlled, consistent feel and helps it settle cleanly after each move.

Magnets in the pieces

The pieces have their own magnets too. Along with the ball-core, they help the layers line up so the puzzle feels precise and turns are less likely to catch.

Adjustable spring core

The spring core lets you adjust the tension, so you can set the puzzle up tighter for control or looser for speed.
