Description

The GAN12 MagLev (UV Coated) is one of the most iconic flagship 3x3s of the modern era. Although it was released in 2021, it’s still a favourite today, and some pro cubers still use it in competition. That says a lot about how well it was designed: fast, stable and highly tunable, it still holds its own against much newer cubes.

Speedcubes usually get replaced quickly, but the GAN12 has stood the test of time. Its balanced, consistent feel and huge range of settings mean that years after release, it remains a cube that serious cubers keep coming back to.

Magnetic levitation (MagLev)

The GAN12 MagLev was GAN’s first ever MagLev cube. It replaces the traditional spring with opposing magnets. You get the same springy feel, but with less friction and no spring noise, for fast, smooth and quiet turning.

64 magnets with enhanced core positioning

64 magnets work together for a smooth, consistent magnetic feel throughout every turn. GAN’s enhanced core positioning delivers strong auto-alignment of 30° or more, so turns snap into place quickly.

36 numerical settings

GAN’s numerical tuning system offers 6 centre travel settings and 6 MagLev tension levels, for 36 combinations. You can also adjust the magnet strength and swap between triangle (standard) and hexagon (strong) magnet rods, so you can fine-tune the cube to your exact style.
